Lavender's Blue (1995)

Lavender's Blue was a project in two media (video and stage) about turning mental llness into mental health. It was conceived and inspired by No Strings Attached founder Helen Flinter Leach, at that time a survivor of Bi-Polar Illness for over 20 years. It was informed by workshops (facilitated by Pat Rix and Stephen Sheehan) with residents of the Glenside Psychiatric Hospital.

Staged reading for Mental Health Week (October 1995), Nexus Cabaret, Adelaide SA. Lavender's Blue was subsequently workshopped by the State Theatre of South Australia for an invited audience.
